Accounting Specialist

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of transactions
• Process purchase order invoicing and perform three-way matching to verify accuracy
• Oversee electronic AR payments and reconcile accounts as needed
• Set up new vendors in the system and ensure proper documentation, including W-9 collection
• Collaborate with team members to maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Provide support for auditing activities, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline financial operations and reporting
• Offer insights and assistance related to manufacturing accounting practices, if applicable

• Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software applications
• Strong understanding of three-way matching and purchase order invoicing
• Ability to create and manage vendor accounts, including collecting necessary documentation
• Background in manufacturing accounting is preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in financial reconciliation
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
