Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Atwater, California. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the processing and posting of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Preparing financial statements and reports, providing regular updates on financial status
Handling high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all data
Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up to date
Assisting in the closing processes at the end of each month
Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes
Utilizing your established accounting knowledge and skills to support the financial operations of the organization
Adhering strictly to accounting processes and procedures to maintain financial compliance
Managing invoice processing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Maintaining an organized and streamlined accounting system to facilitate easy access to information

Requirements:

Possess a minimum of one year experience in accounting
Proficient in executing accounting functions
Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Capable of managing high-volume data entry tasks
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
