Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Liberty, South Carolina. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support key financial operations during a busy period. As a critical member of the accounting team, you will contribute to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial processes while adapting to dynamic priorities.

Job Responsibility:

Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing
handle daily cash receipt transactions, which will comprise a significant portion of the workload
perform regular reconciliations on a daily and weekly basis to ensure financial accuracy
use Microsoft Excel to generate reports, analyze data, and support day-to-day tasks
adapt to shifting priorities and provide assistance across various accounting functions as needed
maintain precision and consistency in all financial transactions and records
ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all accounting activities
offer flexible support for evolving responsibilities related to the new system implementation.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets
familiarity with financial system implementation and related tasks
strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
ability to handle vendor statements and maintain clear communication
excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Nice to have:

Experience with new system implementation
familiarity with company policy adherence in accounting activities.
