We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Milwaukie, Oregon. Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry, general ledger coding, matching, deposits, and conducting weekly check runs
Process payments efficiently, post invoices to the balance sheet, and oversee daily cash activity
Assist with intercompany accounting tasks and ensure inventory entries are accurately recorded
Maintain and update financial records using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Conduct account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity
Support billing operations and ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Contribute to overall accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records to maintain accuracy
Requirements:
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation
Demonstrated expertise in general accounting practices
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar accounting software
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle intercompany accounting and inventory entry tasks effectively
Solid understanding of financial reporting and accuracy
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
