Job Description:

Robert Half’s Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice is hiring Accounting Specialists who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving new challenges. This is not a traditional accounting role. You will support a variety of clients across the DFW market, stepping into projects where your skills create immediate impact. We are looking for professionals with strong AP, AR, and bookkeeping experience who are also technically curious and excited about learning new tools, including AI-driven workflows.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes across multiple client environments
  • Perform data entry, reconciliations, and transaction processing
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and account cleanup
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support month-end close activities and reporting
  • Learn and adapt to new ERP systems and tools quickly
  • Work with modern tools and emerging AI applications to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in AP, AR, or bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks independently
  • Technically savvy with Excel and accounting systems
  • Interest in learning new technologies, including AI tools
  • Strong communication and adaptability
