Job Description

An established CPA and consulting firm is seeking a full-time Accounting Senior to join its team. This role offers a supportive, flexible, and engaging work environment focused on integrity, accountability, and building meaningful, long-term relationships. The firm provides a broad range of audit, tax, client service accounting, and consulting services. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who values high-quality work, demonstrates accountability, and is able to both lead and take direction with humility.

Job Responsibility

  • Daily sales entry
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable (A/P & A/R)
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of Washington State excise tax returns
  • Payroll processing
  • Preparation of quarterly taxes
  • 1099 and W-2 preparation

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, research, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage changing workloads, and meet deadlines, including overtime as required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to take direction and exercise sound judgment and tact
  • Strong prioritization skills while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Highly motivated with initiative for professional growth and development
