Job Description:

To enable business transformation and secure Ingka Group long term profitable growth and independence through financial steering and decision support, operational excellence and compliance. The Group Financial Controlling team leads the Financial Controlling Function providing support to the three core-businesses IKEA Retail, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organisational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve effective and efficient Accounting & Reporting processes and routines
  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities
  • Secure that the team members are working according to the A&R manual as well as local GAAP
  • Support the team with specific accounting and reporting related questions
  • Support relevant functions as a trustful and professional business partner in Accounting & Reporting matters with the aim to offer the customer a seamless shopping experience
  • Contribute the business plan process and set clear goals and action plan together with the team in alignment with the business plan and function goals
  • Coordinate and/or support internal and external audit, review and follow up on audit findings and recommendations
  • Contribute to local and global projects from A&R perspective
  • Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group
  • Secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach
  • Ensure a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting / finance / economics or a related field
  • 5-10 years of increasingly responsible accounting experience in similar or larger organization
  • Demonstrate knowledge of broad set of spanish accounting principles (e.g. GAAP) and spanish Tax
  • Experience in SAP
  • Proficient in MS Office skill
  • Experience in multicultural and multinational organization
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English and Spanish
  • Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others
  • Excellent knowledge of how to plan, measure financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations and ensuring value for money in reaching business objectives and long term profitable growth
  • Experience in management of teams 5+menbers
