Job Description:

This role as Accounting & Reporting Specialist involves managing Record to Report (R2R) processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, collaborating with teams to solve discrepancies, and supporting audits while driving transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and optimise the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, review of ledger details, and month-end close activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with INGKA Group Accounting Policies, IFRS and local accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data integrity across the omnichannel retail environment
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues impacting financial data flow
  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, and store operations teams to understand business activities and their financial impact
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit standards
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Lead or participate in finance transformation projects aimed at improving R2R efficiency
  • Prepare and review financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from various departments

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or possess demonstrated equivalent experience
  • CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable
  • Experience in managing financial processes and reporting in a complex retail or commercial environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Motivation to drive continuous improvement and contribute to finance transformation initiatives
  • Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business setting
