Job Responsibility:
Manage and optimise the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, review of ledger details, and month-end close activities
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with INGKA Group Accounting Policies, IFRS and local accounting standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data integrity across the omnichannel retail environment
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues impacting financial data flow
Partner with commercial, supply chain, and store operations teams to understand business activities and their financial impact
Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit standards
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries in a timely manner
Lead or participate in finance transformation projects aimed at improving R2R efficiency
Prepare and review financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from various departments
Requirements:
Holding tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or possess demonstrated equivalent experience
Holding, or actively working towards, a CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable
Experienced in managing financial processes and reporting in a complex retail or commercial environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets
Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities
A natural collaborator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders through clear and effective communication
Motivated to drive continuous improvement and contribute to finance transformation initiatives
Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business setting
