Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Refreshment Specialist to join our dynamic accounting office team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the accounting office by overseeing vending-related financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct financial audits and performance evaluation of vending machine operations, including revenue, cash flow, profitability, and cost analysis
  • Act as a liaison between the finance department and internal stakeholders, including executives and department heads, to gather financial data and provide baseline insights for decision-making
  • Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and IT to align financial goals with business objectives and strategies
  • Input financial information into databases, spreadsheets, and accounting software with precision and attention to detail
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline data entry workflows and enhance accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in accounting/business or related field is preferred
  • 2+ years in an accounting office or similar role
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office platform
  • Experience using various ERP systems (Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability and interest in problem-solving, self-starter
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
