Job Description:

Attention all Accounting Professionals in the Hamilton area! Do you have experience in accounts payable/receivable and/or bookkeeping? Job Responsibility:

Reviewing invoices for accuracy, necessary approvals, and proper coding
Full cycle AP/AR processing
Creating invoices and vendor payments with accuracy and efficiency
Maintaining great customer relationships by responding quickly and accurately to both internal (employee) and external (vendor) questions and requests for information
Matching packing slips, invoices and vouchers. Distributing them to other departments and entering them into the system
Review monthly statement to ensure all information is entered and accurate
Send out cheques to vendors via email
Filing invoices once payment is complete
Inputting information into ERP systems
Completing month-end reporting
Other administrative tasks as requested

Requirements:

1-5 years of experience in an accounting role (AP/AR, Bookkeeping, etc)
Education within Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience working with an ERP or accounting program is an asset
Detail oriented
Must be comfortable working independently and a team
Must be reliable, dedicated, and punctual
