We are seeking a temporary Accounting & Procurement Specialist in Santa Fe, NM to support a fast-paced team with a strong focus on government spending and procurement processes. This role requires hands-on experience with MIP/Abila accounting systems (a must-have), along with the ability to assist with light scheduling and executive-level administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a government or compliance-driven environment; CPO (Chief Procurement Officer) certification is a strong plus. This is an immediate-need, contract opportunity paying $25–$30/hour, and we are ready to move quickly for candidates with Abila experience.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within a government or compliance-driven environment
Proficiency with Abila MIP accounting systems is required
Strong knowledge of corporate procurement processes, including purchase orders and contract negotiations
Familiarity with government spending regulations and compliance standards
Ability to effectively manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Certification as a Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) is a strong advantage
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
