Job Description

A well-established and multi-location dealership, is seeking an Accounting & Operations Specialist to support both the accounting and operational functions of the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, has a strong accounting foundation, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Account reconciliations
  • Perform cash applications and payment postings
  • Support financial reporting and month-end close processes
  • Work within the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
  • Assist with title submissions and related dealership documentation
  • Manage and support employee onboarding and administrative setup
  • Coordinate office and operational supply ordering
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or operations role
  • Previous experience in a dealership, automotive, or high-transaction environment is a plus
  • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and cash posting
  • Previous QuickBooks experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency working in Excel to compile reports and track various projects
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
