A well-established and multi-location dealership, is seeking an Accounting & Operations Specialist to support both the accounting and operational functions of the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, has a strong accounting foundation, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Job Responsibility:
Account reconciliations
Perform cash applications and payment postings
Support financial reporting and month-end close processes
Work within the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
Assist with title submissions and related dealership documentation
Manage and support employee onboarding and administrative setup
Coordinate office and operational supply ordering
Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team
Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or operations role
Previous experience in a dealership, automotive, or high-transaction environment is a plus
Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and cash posting
Previous QuickBooks experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency working in Excel to compile reports and track various projects
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
