Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Analyst to support reporting, process improvement, and operational initiatives across our Fabrication Group. This role blends accounting knowledge with data analytics and systems expertise, playing a key role in enhancing financial visibility and driving efficiency across accounting and production functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, quick learner, and strong analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI, Excel, and related systems
  • Build and optimize queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP systems, production systems, etc.)
  • Partner with Accounting and Production teams to identify reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Lead or support projects focused on improving processes, data accuracy, and system integration across the Fabrication Group
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Document processes and contribute to the development of standardized reporting and workflows
  • Continuously seek opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or data/reporting roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data modeling, formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint Spectrum or similar) is a plus
  • Construction or manufacturing industry experience is a huge plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Maintain the Reconciliation and Control functions within the Operations group
  • Work with offshore reconciliations team and internal/external stakeholders on a daily basis to clear breaks and ensure all cash, position and trading accounts are reconciled
  • Responsible for processing certain trade-related activity (fees, transfers, assignments, etc.) and fund financing (leverage facilities, subscription lines, etc.) entries in Advent Geneva general ledger
  • Enter trades into Wall Street Office (WSO) and trade capture systems
  • Set up Agency deals in WSO Agent and assist with other loan operation interfaces with IHS Market services
  • Update and maintain reference data within the security master application for all securities/contracts applicable to the middle market direct lending strategy
  • Review transaction documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy within the loan systems
  • Ensure all loans are rolled and correct rates are set for the next accrual period
  • Serve as bridge between Loan Operations (upstream) and Finance/Accounting (downstream) teams
  • Coordinate and work with outside service providers (servicers, agents, auditors, custodians, third party administrators, etc.) as needed
