Job Responsibility:
Independent handling of specific accounting topics as well as assessment and coordination of ongoing business transactions in the general ledger
Preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB, and EnWG
Advising the operating units and Controlling on accounting issues
Participation in exciting projects with a focus on accounting, including internal and external transformation processes
Further development of internal procedures and processes
Contact person for external and internal stakeholders, in particular for the auditor
Requirements:
Successfully completed university degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or similar qualification (e.g., certified public accountant)
At least 3 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or auditing
In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS, HGB, and ideally EnWG
Ideally, solid knowledge of SAP finance modules and confidence in using MS Office
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Careful and conscientious way of working, even under high workloads, and a high degree of initiative
Hands-on mentality, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team
