Job Description:

A client of Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and lead a team of accounting professionals. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, preparing for audits, and refining processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Managing and refining the depreciation tracker, utilizing Dimensions in Baan to align with main asset classes
  • Assisting with reviewing and cleaning up the balance sheet in preparation for year-end closing
  • Reviewing and documenting accounting procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Preparing necessary documentation and supporting external and internal audit processes
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 5+years proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role with a focus on asset management and audits
  • Strong understanding of fixed assets and depreciation tracking
  • Experience with audit support and preparation
  • Proficiency in balance sheet review and reconciliation
  • Ability to develop and maintain process documentation for accounting procedures
  • Solid foundation in general accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with Baan ERP system (preferred) or similar financial systems
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
