We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting for multiple entities in Gold River, California. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with expertise in complex accounting processes, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will excel in leadership, process improvement, and providing strategic financial insights.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
Prepare and review financial statements, including profit-and-loss reports, expense documentation, and consolidated financial summaries
Develop comprehensive budgets and monitor financial performance through monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and tax regulations, maintaining precision in recordkeeping
Analyze and refine accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and resolve discrepancies, including historical transaction cleanup
Supervise specialized accounting tasks such as journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and depreciation
Oversee complex financial transactions related to real estate, including self-funded loans and partner capital sales
Mentor and lead the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and detail-oriented development
Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver strategic insights and financial guidance
Prepare and maintain multi-entity cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal financial planning
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with preference for advanced certifications
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including managing multi-entity operations and leading teams
Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Edition and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong knowledge of real estate accounting and complex financial structures
Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities, paired with clear communication skills
Proven ability to manage priorities independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Expertise in month-end close processes, financial statement audits, and account reconciliations
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and detailed journal entries
