We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at driving accurate financial reporting, managing employee programs, and streamlining processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting both operational performance and strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items
Perform cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations to maintain a transparent financial outlook
Process payroll with precision, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
Monitor inventory valuation and pricing data to ensure alignment with financial reporting
Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support leadership decision-making
Collaborate on internal and external audits by providing thorough documentation and analysis
Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in payroll, benefits, and reporting
Administer employee benefits programs and address inquiries with professionalism
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and benefits administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and benefits regulations
Proficiency in accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Paychex
Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to solve complex problems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all organizational levels
Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting and financial statement preparation
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
