A rapidly growing SaaS company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and help build scalable financial infrastructure during an exciting period of growth. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process, improving systems, and building processes that scale with a high-growth business. You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while strengthening accounting operations and controls. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with the ability to shape accounting processes and influence how the finance function evolves as the company continues to scale.
Job Responsibility:
Own and manage the full monthly close process and drive improvements toward a faster, more efficient close cycle
Oversee revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with ASC 606 across subscription-based contracts
Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages
Lead account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Partner with FP&A on variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
Optimize the accounting technology stack to improve efficiency and automation
Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Build scalable accounting workflows and infrastructure to support company growth
Collaborate with leadership on audit preparation, investor reporting, etc.
Work cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, and HR
Contribute ideas and process improvements to strengthen the overall finance function
Requirements:
5+ years of accounting experience
CPA strongly preferred
Strong experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition required
Experience with modern ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) and billing/expense management platforms
