Job Description:

This role is highly visible within the organization and offers the chance to lead the financial close process, oversee GAAP compliance, and mentor a team while driving process improvements in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
ensure accuracy of financial statements
Oversee compliance with ASC 606 and SaaS-specific revenue recognition standards
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Ensure GAAP compliance, review journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
Drive process improvements and leverage ERP/automation tools to optimize workflows
Collaborate with FP&A, revenue operations, procurement, and external auditors
Provide accurate financial reporting and SaaS KPIs

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years leading a team
Strong SaaS/ASC 606 knowledge and technical accounting expertise
ERP experience (Intacct, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Salesforce/Spiff a plus
Advanced Excel skills
strong leadership and communication abilities

Nice to have:

Salesforce/Spiff experience
CPA certification
