This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations and process improvements within the organization. Job Responsibility:
Perform daily accounting tasks, including account reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Oversee the month-end close process, preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with established standards
Develop and implement internal controls and standard operating procedures to enhance organizational efficiency
Collaborate with management to address financial operations, including general ledger oversight and process improvements
Support the transition of accounting systems, aligning operations with organizational goals
Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring data integrity
Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Maintain detailed documentation of financial activities for auditing and reporting purposes
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide insights and updates on financial performance
Utilize Oracle financial systems to manage data and streamline accounting processes
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in Oracle financial systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial data
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
Proven ability to manage month-end close processes and account reconciliations
Familiarity with general ledger operations and journal entries
Nice to have:
Experience with system transitions is a plus
