Accounting Manager

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage and mentor accounting staff
• coordinate workflow and support professional development
• Drive month- and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with other departments for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain internal accounting controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company standards
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management
• Support external audit and tax filing activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Manage payroll processing and related functions as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing within accounting systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting practices
• Proven experience with accounting controls and payroll management
• High proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft D365, Oracle NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or Workday
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work onsite daily in New Brunswick, NJ

knowledge of PowerBI or SQL is a plus
