Accounting Manager

• Manage the end-to-end monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements to meet public company standards and compliance
• Support and guide accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to maintain smooth operations
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Oversee the preparation and posting of journal entries to the general ledger
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial statement audits
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes
• Maintain compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting team members

• Proven experience in managing monthly close processes and preparing financial statements
• SOX Controls. Testing and documentation
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Work onsite daily in Lowell, MA area
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in performing account reconciliations and journal entries
• Familiarity with Navision or similar accounting software is highly desirable
• Experience working with public companies and understanding of compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
