Job Responsibility:
Perform detailed bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
Oversee payroll operations and provide guidance to payroll clerks handling daily tasks
Manage sales tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Prepare and analyze financial statements to support strategic decision-making
Review and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger
Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with established standards
Provide leadership and mentoring to the accounting team
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with company goals
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or something relevant
Expertise in month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements
Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entries
Familiarity with payroll processes and sales tax filings
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments
