The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, support payroll and benefits administration as needed, and serve as a trusted partner to leadership by ensuring financial accuracy and providing valuable business insights.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain the general ledger, including preparing journal entries and completing account reconciliations
Lead the monthly and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and related reporting
Prepare financial reports, analyses, and insights to support leadership in business planning and decision-making
Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity
Serve as a primary contact for employee questions related to payroll and benefits
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting principles and practices
Experience with accounts receivable and cash flow management
Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration
Working knowledge of HR practices and procedures
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
8+ years of manufacturing industry accounting experience is required
Nice to have:
Experience with Great Plains is ideal but not required
