We're recruiting for an accounting role at a well-established, privately held Asian food manufacturer and distributor in Montebello, CA. This company has been around for decades, supplies major retail and restaurant accounts nationally, and is actively expanding into new markets under second-generation leadership. They're open to two profiles: a senior candidate ready to own the function, and an earlier-career candidate ready to grow into it. The Senior Role (~$120K): You would be the most senior finance person in the organization. No CFO or Controller above you, and you'd report directly to the President and serve as a key advisor on business decisions. What you'd own: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, internal controls, and audit management. You'd also manage a small team of four. The Junior Role (~$80K): The President is building this team for the long term and is open to developing the right early-career person into the finance lead over time. Ground-floor opportunity at a company with real national reach.
