Job Responsibility
Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely completion
Review journal entries, account activity, and financial reporting
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, and short- and long-term financial planning
Monitor financial performance and help improve results across multiple practice locations
Partner with physicians and office managers on financial reporting and operational performance
Assist with audit preparation, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate vendor invoice reimbursement and physician payments with accounts payable
Oversee payroll-related activities in partnership with the corporate team
Support contract review discussions with the insurance contracting team
Provide financial guidance and education to organizational leaders
Identify and support process improvement and automation opportunities
Lead and mentor accounting and finance staff
Complete special projects for senior leadership as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
7+ Years of accounting or finance experience
3+ Years of supervisory or management experience
Strong experience leading month-end close, reviewing journal entries, and preparing financial reporting
Experience with audit preparation and internal controls
Strong systems and reporting skills
Ability to partner effectively with operational and clinical leadership
Nice to have
Healthcare industry experience
Public accounting experience
CPA or MBA
Experience improving or automating manual processes
