Accounting Manager

• Supervise and coordinate accounting operations, including premium processing, cash receipts, claims, disbursements, and vendor management
• Monitor and refine accounting practices to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
• Mentor and guide the accounting team, fostering growth and a culture of excellence
• Oversee risk management activities and support audit processes and regulatory reviews
• Lead initiatives to enhance accounting systems and streamline processes for greater efficiency
• Manage budgets and allocate departmental resources effectively
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address financial challenges and implement solutions
• Support the preparation and review of journal entries and month-end close activities
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and operational workflows

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage teams effectively
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity
• Proficiency in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and month-end close processes

Preferably, experience in regulated financial services or insurance accounting
