Accounting Manager

• Manage and oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring consistency and compliance with accounting standards
• coordinate and support financial statement audits, addressing inquiries and providing necessary documentation
• perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial data
• prepare and review journal entries for various accounting transactions, ensuring proper categorization and documentation
• analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes
• collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting procedures and systems
• monitor compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies, recommending adjustments as needed
• provide leadership and guidance to less experienced accounting staff, fostering their growth and development

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
• strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
• familiarity with financial statement audits and related documentation requirements
• proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries with attention to detail
• solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance
• excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is a plus
