Expanding company located in the Greater Conshohocken Area is looking to add an Accounting Manager with strong general ledger expertise to their accounting department. This accounting role will consist of leading the accounting team and overseeing its daily operations and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and improving financial processes. In this role you will lead the month end close process, generate financial reporting packages, budgeting and forecasting, oversee financial budgeting, manage the annual external audit process, monitor cash flow activities, process bank reconciliations, coordinate with internal departments on implementation and maintenance of financial systems, review regulatory requirements, assist with tax compliance, and ensure the security of all financial assets.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Oversee the preparation of business activity, management, and financial reports
Manage all tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting
Support financial planning and analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
8+ years of accounting/general ledger experience
CPA preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s)
QuickBooks/ERP system experience
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
