Accounting Manager

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals by providing clear direction and setting performance goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to build budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making processes
• Evaluate and enhance existing accounting systems and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Manage tax compliance efforts and ensure adherence to state, federal, and other tax regulations
• Coordinate and provide assistance with audits, responding to questions and preparing necessary documentation
• Analyze financial data and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate risk and support organizational growth

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management capacity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is strongly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• Effective communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities
