Accounting Manager

• Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries
• Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all accounting transactions
• Utilize Yardi property management software to streamline financial processes and reporting
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and skill development
• Support commercial property management activities by providing accurate financial data and insights
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in Yardi property management software is highly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
• Solid understanding of commercial property accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
