Accounting Manager

• Oversee and perform month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage general ledger accounting tasks, including reconciliations and maintenance
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with reporting standards
• Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain accuracy
• Record and analyze journal entries to support accurate financial records
• Assist with financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
• Handle hands-on bookkeeping tasks to support day-to-day financial operations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial reporting processes
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain compliance and best practices

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, banking, or investments
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger processes
• Experience preparing financial statements and conducting audits
• Ability to perform detailed account reconciliations
• Solid understanding of journal entries and bookkeeping practices
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
