Accounting Manager

• Manage the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with established financial controls and audit requirements
• Assist with data validation and clean-up efforts to maintain accuracy during system transitions
• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting to support leadership decision-making
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related inquiries and issues
• Support compliance with US GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting tasks
• Contribute to the successful implementation of financial systems and processes

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and add value in dynamic environments
• Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Workday Financials or PeopleSoft
• Proven expertise in managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Familiarity with large-scale data migration or clean-up initiatives is preferred
