Job Description:

Robert Half has partnered with a construction company in Englewood in search of an Accounting Manager! The Accounting Manager position is paying $100,000-$135,000 + bonus! The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, tracking and allocating costs for projects, and preparing financial statements. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years of accounting experience, and construction accounting experience. QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibility:

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end close
Track and allocate costs to individual jobs/projects
Monitor budgets vs. actuals for each job
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking
Prepare monthly WIP schedules
Analyze project performance and revenue recognition using percentage-of-completion method
Ensure accurate WIP reporting in coordination with project timelines and financials
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
10+ years of accounting experience
Construction accounting experience
QuickBooks experience is preferred, but not required
