Job Description:

Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a rapidly growing organization in the North of Winnipeg. This position would report directly to the CEO and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in the accounting department are running smoothly

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring day-to-day operations in AR and AP are running smoothly
  • Leading and mentoring a small group of employees in the finance department
  • Prepare and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist in month-end processes, reconciliations and analysis
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a CPA designation or working towards it
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting role with previous leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including AP and AR
  • Fantastic attention to detail, able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent Excel skills and Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be considered an asset
  • Strong business acumen and a great team player
