Accounting Manager

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, manual data entry, and payment processing
• Supervise invoicing procedures and oversee payment handling, ensuring accuracy and compliance with vendor requirements
• Lead the month-end closing process, working to improve efficiency and reduce the cycle time to meet organizational goals
• Coordinate the year-end closing activities in collaboration with external accounting partners
• Provide leadership to a small team, including an accounting associate and an office administrator, ensuring effective performance and development
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including inventory management and weekly payments, ensuring timely approvals
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and corporate credit cards to maintain accurate financial records
• Address and resolve accounting-related issues, such as payment discrepancies, credit adjustments, and invoice concerns
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards across all accounting activities

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management
• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in handling journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable operations
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to handle daily accounting challenges
• Experience with inventory management in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools to streamline processes and data entry
