Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core financial operations and drive accurate, timely reporting for a growing manufacturing organization in South Carolina. This role oversees day-to-day accounting activities, partners closely with leadership to support forecasting and decision-making, and ensures the integrity of financial data across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the full-cycle accounting function, including AP, AR, and general ledger activities
  • Direct the month-end, quarterly, and annual close cycles
  • Prepare and present financial statements
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger
  • Oversee account reconciliations
  • Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Analyze financial results
  • Monitor job costing, inventory, and production metrics
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations
  • Manage and optimize ERP systems
  • Coordinate audit preparation and compliance efforts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
