Job Description

A rapidly growing Marketing agency is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing NYC team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn alongside a group of experienced professionals.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing financial statements and forecasting reports
  • Supervising daily accounting operational functions
  • Leading implementation of financial systems
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Overseeing quarterly and year-end closings
  • Regularly providing updates to Controller
  • Assisting with tax compliance and tax filing preparation
  • Handling ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 8 years of experience, preferably a CPA
  • Must have detailed understanding of GAAP
  • Should also possess advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Hands-on leader, with excellent organizational and communication skills
