Accounting Manager

• Oversee revenue recognition and assurance accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Manage contract information flow to properly record revenue across multiple legal entities and markets, addressing sales tax and filing requirements in collaboration with Legal and Tax teams
• Coordinate with Operations teams to establish billing processes that meet high standards of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ensure adherence to global accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain a robust control environment
• Analyze revenue and monitor delinquency collections to optimize financial outcomes while identifying and correcting reporting errors
• Support Finance and IT transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Provide clear direction and set expectations for the Revenue Assurance Accounting Team to achieve organizational objectives
• Mentor and manage team members effectively, fostering growth and development with a focus on attention to detail
• Develop and implement business continuity plans, risk management strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives for Finance Operations
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, undertaking ad hoc tasks as needed to drive efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
• A minimum of 8 years of related finance or accounting experience, including supervisory roles
• At least 5 years of experience in high-volume transactions within large or complex public organizations
• Prior experience with a Big 4 Accounting firm is preferred
• Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly D365
• Expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions and financial statement audits
