Job Description:

This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in mission-oriented environments and enjoys working across departments to strengthen financial operations. The Accounting Manager will support leadership in managing reporting, compliance, audits, and internal controls.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee financial reporting and audits
Ensure compliance and internal controls
Guide teams on fiscal policies
Manage grants, assets, and reconciliations
Support system improvements and leadership
Contribute to closings and capital accounting

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
CPA/MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting/finance in education (required)
Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance
A strong understanding of Nonprofit Accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and internal control frameworks
