Accounting Manager

• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including Accounts Payable and Credit specialists
• Oversee and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance and improve efficiency
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Monitor financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards in all accounting operations
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the accounting department

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
