Accounting Manager

• Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper classification and adherence to company policies
• Monitor financial processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and provide financial insights
• Train and mentor entry level accounting staff to build a high-performing team

• Proven experience in accounting management or similar roles
• Strong expertise in month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance
• Proficiency in managing financial statement audits and preparing required documentation
• Advanced knowledge of account reconciliation and journal entry preparation
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in SAP (preferably S/4 Hana)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is preferred
