We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a multi-entity non-profit healthcare organization in Duarte, California. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee and streamline daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. This position offers an opportunity to ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards while contributing to the organization's financial health.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
Lead month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Consolidate financial data across multiple entities and support audit preparation and grant reporting requirements
Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and organizational policies
Collaborate with staff to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency
Utilize ERP systems effectively, with Multiview experience being highly desirable
Prepare comprehensive financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making
Ensure accuracy in general ledger management and oversee account reconciliations
Provide support for financial statement audits and related documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in non-profit or healthcare sectors
Proficiency in handling multi-entity accounting operations and month-end close processes
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with Multiview experience preferred
Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of non-profit accounting standards and compliance
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
