Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a multi-entity non-profit healthcare organization in Duarte, California. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee and streamline daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. This position offers an opportunity to ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards while contributing to the organization's financial health.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
  • Lead month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Consolidate financial data across multiple entities and support audit preparation and grant reporting requirements
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with staff to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency
  • Utilize ERP systems effectively, with Multiview experience being highly desirable
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making
  • Ensure accuracy in general ledger management and oversee account reconciliations
  • Provide support for financial statement audits and related documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in non-profit or healthcare sectors
  • Proficiency in handling multi-entity accounting operations and month-end close processes
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with Multiview experience preferred
  • Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of non-profit accounting standards and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
