Are you looking for a dynamic role where you can have a real impact on international financial processes? Our international client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager (Tax & Statutory). This is a unique opportunity to work within a newly created department, responsible for key tax and reporting processes in the region. You will be a key partner for local finance teams and external advisors, and your work will contribute to maintaining the highest compliance standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for direct tax accounting for both US GAAP and statutory accounts for each entity in the region
  • Responsible for the statutory financial statement and tax process
  • Responsible for on-time filing of statutory & direct tax related external and internal reporting and returns including monthly close process
  • Manage the Team including supervisor, seniors and rest of the team members
  • Responsible for accurate completion of direct tax returns
  • Direct the accurate completion of SFS
  • Partner with other members in the finance organization
  • Lead the process to monitor income tax payments and the related income tax payable accounts
  • Maintain relationship and interaction with authorities in coordination with local teams
  • Assist with gathering information and documentation required by the US & local tax department
  • Driving efforts to leverage technology, automation and standardization
  • Stay up to date with country legislation changes

Requirements:

  • university degree in accounting, taxes or a related field
  • team management experience
  • at least 10 years of accounting experience, particularly in the area of taxation and statutory reporting
  • knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and local regulations
  • advanced knowledge of English
  • in-depth knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
