We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in Greer, South Carolina, who possesses a strong blend of accounting expertise and financial analytical skills. Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and actively participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting entries
  • Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and submit multi-state sales and use tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explaining accounting procedures
  • Collaborate on inventory control measures, including physical and cycle counts, to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Apply cost accounting methodologies to evaluate production costs and profitability, delivering insights to enhance decision-making
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing financial trends and variances
  • Conduct financial data analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles
  • Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations
  • Strong knowledge of preparing and filing multi-state tax returns
  • Experience supporting audit processes, including documentation and compliance
  • Familiarity with inventory control and cost accounting practices
