Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Hudson, New Hampshire. In this role, you will oversee and enhance accounting operations while ensuring compliance with financial standards. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and opportunities for skill development to the accounting team
  • Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards
  • Review and analyze balance sheet accounts and reconciliations for accuracy
  • Develop quarterly reconciliation reports for review by the Corporate Controller
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to minimize financial risks
  • Coordinate and manage interim and year-end audits, including preparation of required audit workpapers
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of Forms 990/990-T and tax-exempt bond filings
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper general ledger postings and alignment
  • Establish, refine, and document accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles
  • Proven expertise in managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation practices
  • Experience coordinating and supporting financial statement audits
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries
  • Familiarity with accounting operations within the healthcare industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities
