We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations within our manufacturing organization in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, driving process improvements and supporting critical reporting needs.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies
Work closely with the FP& A team to analyze variances and provide detailed reporting on forecasts versus actual results
Ensure all financial operations adhere to internal controls and maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
Coordinate with both internal and external auditors to provide timely and accurate information during audits
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners to foster communication and collaboration across departments
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and journal entries
Strong knowledge of general ledger operations and account reconciliation
Familiarity with financial statement preparation and audit processes
Comprehensive understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements
Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights through variance analysis
Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage relationships with auditors and business partners
Proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvements within accounting systems
