Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead core accounting operations within a growing organization. This role oversees key financial activities, manages a small accounting team, and ensures timely, accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on leadership experience, and a proactive approach to improving day-to-day accounting processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead daily accounting operations, overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities for a small accounting team
  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure financial results are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Partner with the Controller and cross-functional stakeholders to refine workflows and deliver reliable financial information that supports business decision-making
  • Prepare and review tax-related documentation and assist with required filings and annual tax audit activities
  • Monitor general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations to maintain accurate and complete financial records
  • Provide support across additional finance and operational initiatives as business priorities evolve

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger management, month-end close processes, and account reconciliations
  • Experience supporting financial statement audits and preparing journal entries
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with close attention to detail
  • Ability to meet work authorization and minimum age requirements applicable to the role
