We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead and enhance the accounting operations of our organization. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial processes while driving efficiency and maintaining high standards in reporting. Based in Arlington, Texas, this position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact through leadership and strategic collaboration.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and review the general ledger to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards
Coordinate and support financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines
Perform and review account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
Create and approve journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards
Strengthen and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency
Provide accounting expertise to cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance accounting operations
Ensure all financial documentation is accurate, well-organized, and easily accessible for audits and reviews
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in leadership roles
Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
Demonstrated expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements
Extensive experience with financial statement audits and ensuring compliance with regulations
Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation
Deep understanding of internal controls and their application in financial operations
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
CPA candidate/parts passed highly preferred
